Final Show-and-Sell October 13
Our final show-and-sell opportunity will be this coming Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Jewel-Osco located at 4660 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago, IL 60641, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. There are three time slots available: 10:00 to 11:00, 11:00 to 12:00, and 12:00 to 1:00. Popcorn Order Form turn-in October 14
All popcorn orders are due by Monday October 14, 2024. If you want to turn over the money to the pack with either cash or a check, and you want to turn in your order form physically, I will be in the basement of the church on Monday, October 14 from 7:00 to 8:30.
If you want to send me a screenshot or scan in your order form and turn in the money either via zelle or venmo, the email address associated with both those accounts is ashland966@hotmail.com.

PACK MEETING - Pumpkin Carving October 18
Our annual October Pack meeting will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the basement of St. Edward church (Unity Hall). The scouts will be carving pumpkins and will be getting snacks and juice boxes.
CHICAGO FIRE SCOUT NIGHT October 19
The Chicago Fire are hosting a 2nd Scout Day on Saturday 10/19. Tickets are still available, and are between $25 and $33. I bought tickets for me and two of my boys in Section 130, Row 2, seats 7, 8, and 9.

HAUNTED HIKE October 25-26
The Haunted Hike is a yearly, Halloween-themed event run by Scouting America. This event raises funds, builds leadership, and is good, spooky fun! It is a guided hike through a series of small haunted houses centering on a theme. These small haunted houses are a collection of tents and have costumed scarers to help bring the screams! Located at All Saints Cathedral Parish, 9201 W. Higgins Rd, Chicago, IL on Friday October 25, and Saturday October 26. Haunted Hike – Takhone Lodge #7 (oa7.org)
UNIFORM
All scouts should have a full uniform that consists of the following items:
1) A scout shirt with these patches
a. 3904 red numerals
b. World crest emblem
c. 1910 crest ring
d. Pathway to Adventure Council Patch
e. Earned rank(s) patches (Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos)
2) Scout pants or shorts
3) A scout belt and belt buckle
4) Neckerchief for the den they are going into this year
5) Neckerchief slide for the den they are going into this year
6) Hat for the den they are going into this year
7) Handbook for the den they are going into this year (all handbooks are new this year, so make sure not to buy any used handbooks - they are obsolete)

PACK MEETING CALENDAR
