Scoutbook is the system that Cub Scouting has created to manage the pack and track advancements. Den leaders are responsible for recording all completed adventure requirements and ranks earned for their scouts.
Steps to record completed Adventures:
Log into Scoutbook: https://advancements.scouting.org
Use your my.scouting.org credentials to log in
Click on "Roster" on the left side of the screen
Click on "Unit Quick Entry" in the gray bar above the roster table
Then click "Enter Adventures"
From the "Unit Quick Entry" screen, select the Rank, Adventure and Version of the adventure that was completed
On the left side of the screen:
Slick all the scouts that you are trying to record for
On the right side of the screen:
Select all the requirements that were completed
Choose the date when the requirements were completed
Check the "Mark as Approved" checkbox
Click "Apply" and then confirm
Steps to record completed Rank at the end of the year
Log into Scoutbook: https://advancements.scouting.org
Use your my.scouting.org credentials to log in
These steps must be done individually per scout:
Find the scout in the roster section and click their name to open their profile
On the left side of the profile screen, enter the completion date when they earned the rank (when the last adventure was completed)
Check "mark as approved/recorded"
Check "mark as awarded"
Click "save"
